Eagle tabs area basketball players for all-class teams
Six basketball players from Marion County were named Sunday to the Wichita Eagle's all-class teams.
Three Hillsboro High School players represented the Mid-Central Activities Association on the honorable mention teams.
Senior Kyle Kroeker was named to the 3A boys' team along with junior Lucas Hamm.
JuileAnne Chisholm earned 3A honors as well for the girls' team.
Peabody-Burns High School of the Heart of America League had two members from its boys' team and one from the girls' team.
Senior Derek Benson and junior Derrick Simmonds were named to the 2A honorable mention boys' team, and junior Jessi Hilliard the 2A girls' team.
