Dorothy Mae Marasco
Dorothy Mae Marasco, 79, died Oct. 13, 2004.
Born Nov. 8, 1924, in Florence, she was the daughter of Henry and Lena (Remple) Yakel.
On June 23, 1945, she married James Marasco in Hutchinson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Mary Catherine Armstrong, Bernice Oswald, Ruth Yakel, and Joyce Yakel.
Survivors include her husband, James; three sons, Lynn, Mike, and Mark Marasco, all of Wichita; three brothers, Luther Yakel of Wichita, Arthur Yakel of Augusta, and Herbert Yakel of Springfield, Ohio; a sister, Viola Wiebe of Canon City, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Riverlawn Christian Church, Wichita.
Burial was at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
