Don't forget to sign up for Christmas parade
Peabody Main Street members are hoping more churches, businesses, clubs, and individuals will sign up to enter the Western Wonderland Prairie Christmas parade on Dec. 2.
"We hope they will follow the old west theme this year," said Jeff Pohlman, committee chairman. "There are nice prizes for the best entries."
Floats, decorated bicycles or golf carts, horses, or even people walking are welcome additions to the groups already signed up. To reserve a spot, entrants should sign up in advance by calling Kristen Hooper at Peabody city building, 983-2174.
Peabody Main Street is offering prizes of $75, $50, and $25 in "Peabody Bucks."
