Dog bites Peabody child
Authorities seek dog to check for rabies
Peabody authorities are seeking information on a small white terrier-type dog who bit a child June 23.
The four-year-old girl was bitten by the dog in the 400 block of North Plum. The bite was superficial and the child is fine. However, Peabody veterinarian Virginia Skinner said they are seeking the dog to determine the status of its rabies vaccination.
Anyone with information regarding this type of dog should contact Skinner at Peabody Veterinarian Clinic (983-2998) or the Peabody Police Department at 983-2133.
