Dean Hieberts to celebrate 55th anniversary years ago
Dean and Delores Hiebert will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. April 3 at the Towanda Senior Center.
Dean Hiebert and the former Delores Rutschman were married March 31, 1950, in Whitewater.
Dean worked for the Skelly/Getty/Texaco refinery in El Dorado for 33 years before retiring in December 1998.
Delores is a homemaker.
The anniversary event will be hosted by the couple's children, Donald and Glenda Hiebert, Kathy Smith, and Lesa Hiebert, all of Newton, and Gary and Cheryl Hiebert of Broussard, La. The couple has seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
