Deadline for grant is Friday
Peabody Community Fund is offering a grant for a project that will enhance the community.
Friday is the deadline for turning in the application to Charlene Brooks at USD 398 central office.
"The PFC board encourages any charitable organization with a proposal that will improve the community to get an application in by the deadline," said Brooks.
The grant is expected to be $300. In the past PFC grant money has been awarded to Peabody Historical Society, Peabody Township Library, the HUB, and Peabody swim team among others.
Applications are available at Peabody State Bank, Peabody Hardware, Peabody Market, and at the central office of USD 398.
