Warriors do well in Sterling Relays by taking two first places and one second. The high school track team placed 6th among a field of 25 Class B teams at the Sterling Relays on Saturday. Tom Carr set a new record in the 880. The mile relay team consisting of Johnston, Good, Reid, and Johnson took 1st in their event, and the 880 relay team won second. Reid, Johnston, Carr, and Johnson make up this team.

Short notes from the Peabody community:

Heath and Hoyt Baker, who are attending school at Lawrence, were home for the Easter vacation.

Mrs. Robert Kurtze and Mrs. Bill Avery attended the funeral of Mrs. John Schneider in Hillsboro last Tuesday.

Marion Gray, who teaches in Lawrence, spent the Easter vacation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Gray.

Bill McPheeters, who has been in the hospital in Newton, is able to be brought home, but not able to return to school yet.
