Mrs. Wallace Seibel honored her little daughter, Judy Lee, with a birthday party Saturday afternoon in honor of her sixth birthday anniversary. Refreshments of ice cream and birthday cake were served to the following guests: Neil Herbert, Karen Snavely, Karen All Will, Gail Kottwitz, Ruth Ann Mathias, Gerald Bain, Sally Ferguson, Janice Gibson, Pat Stockebrand, Joan Stovall, Trudy Watts, Donna Skinner, Donald Skinner, Janet Kafton, Patsy Seibel, Joanne and Jerold Vogt of Hillsboro, Mrs. John Vogt, and Judy Lee's grandmother, Mrs. Walter Newton.

Sam Clausen is the new justice of the peace for Peabody township, having been appointed for the remainder of the term left vacant by the death of Sam Van Etten.

Barbara Palmer, Charles Windsor, Beverly Klein, Mary Lou Guthrie, and Carmen Fisher spent last week attending Methodist Youth Fellowship camp at Camp Horizon near Arkansas City. Rev. E.M. Fly took the group down on Monday and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Klein brought them back Friday.
