The 75th anniversary celebration of the Lutheran Church held Sunday and Monday was very successful in every way.
Mrs. Paul Baker entertained the Luncheon Bridge club at her home Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Potter and children moved last week to the Potter family home, Hillcrest, at the southeast edge of town. The Tom Potter house on Olive street was sold to the Allen Risinger family of Marion. Mr. Risinger is the new manager at the Peabody Mill.
Among those from here who attended the Grand Lodge of IOOF and Rebekah in Topeka this week were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Gibbs, Charles Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. Harrie Schultz, Mrs. C.K. Mustoe, Mrs. Lehila Wood, and E.C. Lovesee.
Mrs. Harold Hess and Mrs. Harry Scrivner were in Junction City last Friday where they attended the 6th District Conference of Parent-Teachers Association.
