Peabody underclassmen won a track meet from a non-senior contingent in Moundridge Friday afternoon. Koslowsky won the high hurdles; Hanneman, 4th. Weems, 1st, and Botkins, 2nd, in the 100-yard dash. Meirowsky, 2nd, and Hanneman, 3rd, in the mile. Kirkpatrick won the 440. Vantyle won the high jump, with South, Windsor, and Goering in second place.
Rev. W. Frank Aten, minister of the First Christian Church, has resigned. He announces he has accepted a call to the Central Park Christian Church of Topeka. Rev. Aten has served the local congregation for the last three years.
Mrs. Alfred Kirkpatrick went to Omaha Tuesday to bring home Alfred, who had surgery at Clarkson Hospital last Wednesday. Mr. Kirkpatrick expects to return to work next Monday.
