Mrs. Ernest Seibel was dismissed from Axtell hospital in Newton on July 4th. She underwent surgery on June 28.
Mrs. J.S. Klein entertained at a miscellaneous shower for bride-elect, Miss Eleanor Gaines, on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. Co-hostesses were Mrs. Jewell Davis and Mrs. Frederick Sebree.
A group of about 75 college-age youth spent the afternoon of July 4th swimming at Poe's pool and then enjoyed a picnic supper and evening at the Country Club.
Johnnie Ewert of Tulsa, Okla., is spending this week visiting in the home of Mrs. Bert Ewert and the Vernon Slocombe home
