Several folks from Peabody have appeared on the KAKE television show, Party Line. Mrs. Joe Gaines, Mrs. Fordyce Gray, Mrs. Don Gillet, and Sally and Mary Gaines were on the show. Mrs. Gillet won a hat for giving a commercial in competition with three others.
Miss Elaine Slocombe and Miss Judy Whisler will go to Hutchinson Friday to attend the Methodist Youth Fellowship convocation. This is for Methodist Youth of Kansas and will be held in the 4-H building at the fair grounds.
Mrs. Norman Schmidt and Mark and Mrs. Darrell Gregory spent Thursday in Wichita visiting Mrs. Bobbie Laramore.
Carmen Fisher is spending several days in Wichita visiting Nita Thach and the Ken Thach family.
