Mrs. George Herbison, the former Shirley Wentworth, was the guest of honor at a shower last Friday night in the home of Miss Judy Mickey. Miss Joan Mellott was also a hostess at the surprise event.
Mr. and Mrs. Doc Stovall and Joan, and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Stovall spent the weekend in Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Doc Stovall and Joan went to Springfield Saturday night to attend the "Ozark Jubilee." They returned to Joplin Sunday morning to help Doc's grandfather, Don Stratton, celebrate his 80th birthday.
