Brock Baker, who is now affiliated with the family firm, Baker Funeral Home and Baker Furniture, was recently informed that he has satisfactorily passed the state undertaking board examination.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Smith and daughters Barbara and Brenda of Manhattan came Friday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John DeForest.
Members of the Baptist church of Peabody are enjoying the music of a new Baldwin electric organ. The purchase and installation of the organ is the culmination of several years work by members of the congregation, principally, Mrs. George Higgins.
