Mike Jones and Phyllis Nellans of the Peabody Hustlers 4-H Club are shown with their prize-winning lambs at the Marion County Fair. Phyllis won a blue ribbon and the showmanship championship on her fat lamb. Mike won a reserve championship with his ewe lamb.
Mrs. Willard Jewell was hostess to the Canasta Club Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Bryan Cullins and Mrs. W. D. McIntosh were guests.
Karen Eberle of Emporia was a guest of her grandmother Mrs. Joe Neuhauser and sister Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox, Randy and Ricky over the weekend.
