Jeff Balthrop of Peabody placed 2nd with a Hampshire barrow at the recent Kansas Junior Livestock show in Wichita.
Your ole Owl, Mrs. Owl and Dale Belcher have just about completed the new and quite different lambing barn on the ole sheep farm south of town. It is an 8-sided affair with a large cupola on top and made mostly of used and recycled materials.
Virgil and Iresen Norwood of Salina visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Gough.
