Dr. Neysa Eberhard of Peabody was named "Woman of the Year" in Newton for 1977. Mrs. Eberhard, wife of Charles Eberhard of Peabody, is director of the Newton Public Library.
A new owner will take over the management of Keller Clothing Store March 1, marking the first time in 65 years that the Keller name will not be associated with the local clothing store. Mrs. Jean Maples has purchased the establishment from Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hanneman.
