Michelle and Eddie Madsen, daughter and son of Mrs. and Mrs. Earl Madsen, have enrolled at the Brown Mackie College, Salina. They both will pursue a course of study in the field of data processing.
Jon Beeman of Peabody, a sophomore at Emporia State, is listed as a member of that university's cross country team this fall. Beeman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beeman of Peabody.
Mr. and Mrs. Stan Farr, Danny Farr, and Carol White attended the K-State-WSU game in Manhattan Saturday. Saturday evening they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Brian Voight and family.
Four lucky women won prizes offered by the Walnut Wardrobe in Peabody at their grand opening last week. The winners were Ila Kieferle, first prize; Carol White, second; Nina Rood, third; and Lois Balthrop, fourth.
