DAYS OF YORE: 100 years ago
A football club was organized Monday evening at the city building. Ed Jordan is captain and coach; Harry Slaymaker, manager; and George McKerscher, treasurer. They have arranged for practice evenings and will go right to work. The membership will be increased to 22.
Bert Robinson and wife have returned from Gage, Okla., and brought with them a baby son who was born Sept. 29. They have moved onto Oney Craw's farm in East Branch.
Circle 3 of the Methodist aid society will hold an exchange in the Davison's north room Saturday afternoon.
