Cross country teams place fourth

Members of the Peabody-Burns High School cross country team placed fourth Thursday in both the boys' and girls' standings during the Berean cross country meet held at Harvey County East Lake.
The girls' team had two top 20 finishers in the varsity two-mile race. Tiana McGee received a sixth place medal with a time of 13:36. Kate Topham medaled at 12th with a time of 14:00.
In the varsity first-man race, Andrew Topham ran the 3.1 mile race in 17:03 and earned a second place medal. In the varsity second-man race, Duane Unruh brought home a seventh place medal.
Derek Benson medaled fifth in the varsity third-man race. Nicholas Whitney earned a sixth place medal in the varsity fourth-man race, and Maximilian Stralka earned a third-place medal in the varsity fifth-man race.
