Cross country's Windsor, McGee place first, second at Bluestem

The Peabody-Burns cross country team has stayed busy, recently competing in two meets.
The girls brought home a fifth place finish at the Bluestem meet Sept. 18 and the boys placed 11th in the standings.
The boys also ranked fourth during the meet Thursday in Marion.
Individual medals were earned by several PBHS runners. Jana Windsor and Tiana McGee still lead the pack for the Lady Warriors with first and second place finishes in both meets.
Windsor finished first with her best time for the two meets at 11:49. McGee ran second with a time of 12:01. Alyssa Carter placed fourth in Marion and 20th at Bluestem.
On the boy's side Andrew Topham brought home medals with a fourth place finish at Bluestem with a time of 17:52, and an eighth place spot at Marion.
Also running and medaling at Bluestem were three junior high runners. Ryan Wiebe placed 23rd, Ethan Riggs placed 33rd, and Caden Middleton came in at 34th.
