The following information has been filed in the Criminal Division of Marion County District Court:

William E. Tanner, charged with endangering a child and driving under the influence; arraignment at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 14.

Robert Welsh, arraignment at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 14.

Karlene Stephenson, charged with two counts giving worthless check; first appearance hearing at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

Paulette Perrymore, charged with giving worthless check; first appearance hearing at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

Bradley Cutter, charged with two counts giving worthless check; first appearance hearing at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

Jamie L. Eickleberry, charged with theft; first appearance hearing at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

Joyce Marshall, charged with assault; journal entry of conviction and sentencing, defendant enters plea of no contest, sentenced to 10-day controlling term with Marion County Sheriff's Office, sentence suspended, six months supervised probation with court service officer, pay costs and fees of $142, can do community service work at $5 per hour, refrain from alcohol/drugs, submit to bb/u test.

Chad Carr, charged with possession of hallucinogenic and possession of drug paraphernalia; journal entry of conviction and sentencing, defendant enters plea of no contest to count one, state dismisses count two, sentenced to 30 days controlling term with MCSO, court suspended imposition of sentence and placed on immediate six months unsupervised probation, pay costs and fines of $267.

John Mayden, charged with manufacturing controlled substance, possession of ephedrine, and possession of narcotic drugs; journal entry of judgment, sentenced to 23 months with Kansas Department of Correction for count one and 12 months for count three, immediate 18 month supervised probation with community correction, 50 hours with CSW, refrain from alcohol/drugs, submit to bb/u testing, obtain drug/alcohol evaluation and follow recommendation at own expense, gain and maintain employment, serve 48 hours sanction for failure to pass urine analysis, pay costs and fees of $952.

Daniel L. Bowes, charged with four counts forgery and four counts theft; journal entry of judgment following reduction in charges, sentenced 18 months with SOC on count one and six months with MNSO for count five and six months with MNSO for count six, 18 months supervised probation with ISO, complete 100 hours CSW, pay costs and fees of $752, restitution to Track A Check, $269.81; Vogt's Hometown Grocery, $49.69; Dale's Supermarket, $105.57; Dillons, $55.49; Kwik Shop, $41.50; Ampride, $26.13; and Carlsons' Grocery, $45.65.
