The following information has been filed in the Criminal Division of Marion County District Court:
Janette Bieri, manufacturing a controlled substance, attempted possession of opiates, opium, or narcotics, theft by deception of $500 to $25,000, possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia, possession of depressant, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids, theft by deception of less than $500, trespassing on railroad property without consent of owner; status hearing held, count two amended to attempted possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine; defendant pleaded no contest to count two, state moved to dismiss all remaining counts with prejudice per plea agreement, court accepted plea agreement and found defendant guilty of one count of possession of controlled substances, court dismissed all remaining counts with prejudice; sentencing at 11 a.m. Feb. 26.

Mindy Besch, sale etc. of opiates, opium, or narcotic drugs, possession of depressant, stimulants, hallucinogenics, steroids, possession of simulated controlled substances or drug paraphernalia; defendant held on probable cause after arrested by Florence Police Department, dependent is partially indigent, court appointed attorney David Harger, preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. March 7.

Kevin A. Jeffrey Madsen, assault of a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, violation date of June 16, 2006; plea hearing held, defendant pleaded no contest to count one and pleaded guilty to count two, court accepts pleas, defendant sentenced to one year controlling sentence for count one and a 30-day controlling sentence for count two, said time shall be consecutive to each other, placed on immediate supervised probation with community corrections for 12 months, probation subject to all standard terms/conditions and any other conditions, pay court costs of $128, supervised probation fee of $25, booking fee of $45, evaluation of $150, and court-appointed attorney fees; defendant to serve 428 hours in jail for every positive drug/alcohol test and other stipulation.
