Cowboy Sunday held at Florence UMC
"Cowboy Sunday" was celebrated during the monthly "Together We Can Make a Difference" Sunday at Florence United Methodist Church.
Area ranchers and farmers were invited to participate. Bennie Holtsclaw and Ray Davidson shared in song and poetry. Pastor Mark Moore preached a sermon, "Jesus Was a Cowboy." Clint and Sarah Cope shared some reflections from the ranch and children were given cowboy hats.
A flapjack pancake dinner was served after church, followed by hayrack rides.
Veterans will be guests July 4 during the next special Sunday. Everyone is invited to attend.
