Cousins' dinner enjoyed at El Dorado

LaVonne went to El Dorado Thursday and met Carolyn Holm. They went to the home of Theo Jean Winger and the three of them attended a cousins' dinner at the farm of John and Michele Banks, south of El Dorado. Bill and Marie Clark were hosts for the day. Others attending were Virginia and Clyde Waggy of El Dorado. A day of good food, memories, and fellowship was had.

Thursday evening visitors of LaVonne were Bayleigh Clark and Kylie McCord and Jordan McCord of Newton. Later in the evening, Maude Gaines stopped in as did Josh Clark and his friend Ranee of Hillsboro.

Maude Gaines ate lunch Thursday at the Peabody Senior Center and quilted in the afternoon.

LaVonne Ammeter attended the senior citizens dinner and program at Burns Tuesday. We all told of the games we played in school and during our early childhood. A trip down memory lane. Wow!

Sally Abel and Vicki Gantz of Perry brought Maude Gaines home Tuesday.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne on Wednesday.

Ladies Aid quilted at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those attending were Maude Gaines, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Leona Widler.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Marion shopping Friday. They ate lunch at The Big Scoop, then in the afternoon visited Norma and LeRoy Riggs.

LaVonne and Maude attended a pork chop supper Saturday evening at the home of Fordyce and Marge Gray. Don Gillet also attended. It was good food and lots of visiting with the many guests.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon in Florence Sunday. They visited Elsie Tittle later in the afternoon.

Stan Ammeter was a Sunday late afternoon caller.

Sunday evening guests of LaVonne were Carol and Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood. They had been afternoon visitors of Don and Marjorie Gfeller to help Don celebrate his birthday.

Laurie Rose was in El Dorado on Friday. Joyce Hein and Laurie ate at the new café and club in Burns Saturday evening. They ate lunch Sunday at the Kingfisher's Inn at the Marion County Lake.
