County residents give $21,720 to KSU fund years ago
Alumni and friends of Kansas State University who reside in Marion County contributed $21,720 during fiscal year 2005.
A total of $67.8 million was endowed to the KSU Foundation during the fiscal year that ended June 30.
The contributions represent the third largest total in the foundation's 61-year history.
Gifts contributed to the foundation during fiscal year 2005, established 108 new scholarships, and 10 faculty chairs. There were 11 gifts and pledges of $1 million or more.
