Cope wins school race, Lehman is mayor
Sarah Cope of Florence was elected to the USD 408 school board Tuesday, defeating Doug Sharp of Marion, 695 to 99 votes.
There were no contests for USD 398 school board
Rick Turner was selected to the Florence city council over Bev Baldwin 61-29, Dan Ludwig over Reilly Reid 46-41, and John Lehman was named mayor over Jeanie Meirowsky 121-51.
Steve Rose, Jacob Schmill, and Alan Yock were eleted to the Peabody City Council and Randy Dallke was named mayor.
Mary Glenn won the race for Burns mayor, defeating Galen Johnson 45-22. Councilmen named were Mark Steward, Cecilia Kennedy, Fritzie Hatfield, Steven Cheuvront, an
