Concerts planned for park
Two summer concerts are planned for Sunday evenings in Santa Fe Park.
The first concert features talented local musicians and will begin at 7 p.m. June 22. The concert includes vocal and instrumental pieces performed by local artists.
The second concert will feature longtime Peabody favorite, the Senseney Community Band. Directed by Bill Johnson, vice president of Senseney Music in Wichita, band members include individuals from Wichita and neighboring communities. Peabody members are Julie Ensminger, Steve Hamous, and Koni Jones.
This concert will be at 7 p.m. July 20.
Ice cream will be available at both concerts. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.
