Combine, car collide in Marion
A John Deere combine and a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am collided at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at East Main and Freeborn streets.
The eastbound combine was driven by Gary G. Grentz, 60, 1724 E. 190th, Marion, when it struck the westbound Pontiac driven by Marilyn L. Montgomery, 74, 211 W. 16th, Lincolnville.
Both vehicles were on Main Street at the time of the accident.
Marion Police Officer Howard Kahler reported there were no injuries and damages were listed as more than $1,000 to the vehicles.
