Clothier returns from Las Vegas

Hazel Clothier and Joyce Hett of Marion returned home Thursday evening from a trip to Las Vegas. Hazel had lunch on Friday with Bus and Lois Huntley at the Town and Country Café. Hazel was a Sunday dinner guest of Bill and Margie Williams.

Ladies Aid met Thursday for an all-day meeting. Those present were Denise Lang and Patti Mitchell. A covered dish luncheon will be held March 12.

We extend sympathy to the family of George Endres. He will be missed by the many who knew him.

Johnny and Jaimie Lang attended Read Night Friday at Chase County Elementary School. Trenton Heathman of Cottonwood Falls was Johnny's overnight guest. Patti and Amy Mitchell were Sunday afternoon guests at the Lang home.

Guests of Roy and Bev Reynolds last weekend were their grandson Kelley Reynolds of Winfield and daughter Kathy Dowell of Leon. The Reynolds took Kelley home on Sunday.

We extend get-well wishes to Lorene Whitcomb in the hospital at Marquette and wish her a speedy recovery.

Montana Cress of Burns, granddaughter of Everett and Janet Cress, spent a couple of days with them this past week.

Weekend guests of Lonnie and Sharon Smith, Justin and Julia were Lonnie's parents and brother, Don and Erma Smith and Floyd Smith of Toronto.
