Clothier, daughter honored on Valentine's Day

Hazel Clothier's son-in-law Kevin Hill treated his wife Teresa and Hazel to lunch at the Chuck Wagon in Florence on Valentine's Day.

Ladies Aid will meet Wednesday and Thursday for work days.

Wonsevu church ladies and community friends served the dinner for the family of Paul Scharenberg Wednesday. It was a sad goodbye. We will all miss Paul.

Wonsevu Ladies Aid held its Valentine luncheon Thursday at Town and Country Café. Members present were Denise Lang, Reva Goodwin, Patti Mitchell, Bev Morgan, and Margie Williams. Guests present were Hazel Clothier, Louise Janzen, Eleanor Davidson, Bertha Linnens, Teresa Goodwin, Fern Goodwin, Chloe Triggs, Twylah Nightengale, Dolores Mann, Toni Fletcher, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Lorena Magathan, Dorothy Scharenberg, Betty Inlow, Joan Thompson, Beverly Reynolds, Louise Shumate, Luella Harshman, Marge Jackson, Joyce Hett, Yvonne Allen, Jean Everett, Lenona Graham, Carri Cress, Hunter and Walker, and Doni Rogers.

We thank all our guests for coming. It made it a fun time. Hostesses for the event were Denise Lang, Patti Mitchell, Bev Morgan, and Margie Williams.

We thank Donella Humphries and Linda Wyss for the beautiful job they did decorating the tables for us.

Tuesday afternoon visitor of Denise Lang was Margie Williams.

Tuesday evening supper guests of John, Denise, Johnny, and Jaimie Lang were Jessica Lang and Dusty Maddox of Cottonwood Falls. They celebrated Jessica's birthday. We wish her a happy birthday and many more.

Hazel Clothier visited Lois Huntley Thursday afternoon. Another visitor was Joyce Hett of Marion.

Bill Williams treated Gary Williams, Terry Steinbacher, and Margie Williams to supper Friday evening at the Town and Country at Florence for Valentine's Day. Carl Williams and Terry were Saturday and Sunday dinner guests of the Williams.

Pastor Clint Stopple's message Sunday morning, "Seeing the Aspects of What God has Done in our Lives," was taken from John 1:35-42 and 6:5-13.
