Hazel Clothier attended the alumni banquet Saturday evening at Cedar Point. Later in the evening, she called on Bill and Margie Williams.

Bill Williams spent Easter in Wesley Medical Center. We thank everyone for their prayers, cards, phone calls, and visits since he came home and since I was recovering from surgery. We have wonderful friends and neighbors. For all, we are thankful.

Hazel Clothier and Joyce Hett of Marion visited Lois Huntley Monday at Florence. Hazel's daughter Teresa Hill met her on Friday for lunch at the Chuck Wagon in Florence.

Johnny and Jaimie Lang and Amy Mitchell attended cooking class at Cedar Point Saturday morning. They made breakfast.

Denise Lang, Jessica and Jaimie had a nice day in Emporia Saturday afternoon. Denise, Johnny, and Jaimie visited Jack and Patti Mitchell and Amy Saturday evening to see their new puppies, little bird dogs. Denise said they're only four days old, but are so cute.

Jaimie Lang's Saturday overnight guest was Amy Mitchell. Denise, Johnny, Jaimie, and Amy visited the Elmdale church Sunday morning.

Pastor Clint Stopple's message, "Joy of the Lord is our Strength," Sunday morning was taken from Nehemiah 8:10 and Romans 13:3-7.

Ladies Aid met last Thursday. Those present were Denise Lang, Patti Mitchell, Evelyn Sidener, and Bev Morgan.

Bill and I were in Emporia Friday and while there visited with Dorothy and Rhoda Whitcomb. We hadn't seen each other for a long time and it was nice catching up. Dorothy says congratulations are in order for their brother George, who is getting married in July. We're happy for him.

Bill and Margie Williams were Friday supper guests of Gary Williams and Terry Steinbacher. Additional guests were Frank, Christi, and John Soyez of Cedar Point.

Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams were Gary and Carl Williams of Manhattan and Terry Steinbacher of Wichita.

We extend get well wishes to Sheldon Harshman and Gladys Lespagnard. They are in our thoughts and prayers.

Have a good week!
