Clarks honored with double birthday celebration
A birthday party was held at the Burns Community Center on Sept. 9. Honored were Ivan Clark who was 85 Sept. 11 and Marie Clark who was 83 on Aug. 7.
A potluck dinner was given and enjoyed by 75 relatives.
Those attending were Diane and Larry Nelson, Brett and Brenda Nelson, and Brenton and Brianna Nelson; Shane and Michelle Nelson, Nate, Caitlin, and Holton of Cassoday; Alicia Heath, Jaxon and Jeric of Council Grove; Gloria and Wayne Handle, Baxter Springs; Lisa and Mark Johnson, Brooke, Colton, and Jarret of Marion; Amy Cool, Jae, Logan, Hana, and Levi of Glasco; Ashley Handle and Amara, Wichita; and Collin Stucky of Shawnee.
