Clarks celebrate family birthdays

The George Clark siblings met Saturday at the home of Gordon and Joan Clark in El Dorado to celebrate family birthdays.
Those attending were Maude Gaines, Sally Matz of Peabody, Leroy and Norma Riggs of Marion, Bill and Marie Clark of El Dorado, Ike and Marie Clark, and Marvin and Sherol Nightengale of Burns, and Joyce Barker of Wichita.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle were in Newton Monday. While there, they met Dee Morgan for an enjoyable lunch.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle met Archie and Maryellen Stenzel Wednesday morning for breakfast at the Burns Café.
Gene Obee, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Tom and Nedy Grimwood and Christopher, and Joyce Kyle were Friday lunch guests of Tim Durbin of Topeka at the Burns Café. After touring the Flinthills Junction Store in its new location, all gathered at the Grimwood home for coffee. Ed Grimwood joined the group at the table for a short visit. It was nice to have him.
Joyce Kyle attended the Saturday afternoon wedding of Lisa Zogelman and Christian Gibbons in Emporia. The reception and supper was held later in the evening.
Jim Gehring of Moundridge called on Joyce Kyle Thursday morning. Bob Kyle, Brody and Braxton of Peabody called Sunday afternoon.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica, and Lisa Livingston and Ryan attended the Summit Township Party Saturday evening at the home of LaVonne Ammeter.
Noah and Vernella Peachy, Laura, Catherine, Andrew, Marissa, and Samantha of Belleville, Pa., arrived Saturday. They are spending a few days with relatives, Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Roland and Kim Koehn, Doug, Kaylee, and Diana, and Nathan and Ella Koehn. Vernella is a daughter of Nathan and Ella. They were all Sunday dinner guests of Roland and Kim and family. Also visiting were Royse and Rachel Koehn and family of James Port, Mo.
Alvin and Mildred Koehn traveled to Walnut Hill, Fla., to attend the wedding reception of their grandson. They plan to return Wednesday.
