Clark family reunion draws large crowd
Descendants of Mac and Clarice Clark of Summit Township, Florence, enjoyed a family reunion June 13 at Burns Community Building.
The reunion was the eighth gathering for the extended Clark family, and 62 people attended.
Prizes were given to the oldest (Maude Gaines), the youngest (Hadley Clark), and the one who traveled the farthest (Larry and Pat Clark of Colorado Springs).
Family members came from Colorado, Texas, and Missouri as well as many towns in Kansas.
Michele Bank was the master of ceremonies and conducted the family meeting. Gordon Clark called the bingo game. Everyone had a good time. The next scheduled reunion is in 2006.
