Cindy Yotter
Cynthia D. Yotter, 45, of Peabody, died June 14, 2004, at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn.
Born Oct. 11, 1958, in Hawthorne, Calif., she was the daughter of Mildred (Cracraft) and Robert Hughes.
She lived as a young girl in Peabody with Mildred and Red Fleming and sister Billie Jo Fleming. She attended grade school in Peabody. At the age of 10, she lost her mother in a car accident and Cindy moved to Germany to join her father and older siblings, LuAnn and Rocky Hughes. Upon return to the U.S., she attended high school in California.
She most recently lived near Peabody and enjoyed gardening, entertaining friends, and playing with her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Fleming, and her brother, Rocky Hughes.
Survivors include her father, Robert Hughes of Simi Valley, Calif., two sisters, LuAnn Condon of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Billie Jo Fleming of Peabody; a stepson, Jason Yotter of Newton; a grandson, Bubba; cousins, Denise Porter and family of Peabody; and numerous other family members.
Graveside services were held Monday morning at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Stan Ammeter, Billy Hardin, Matt Nellans, Steve Bishop, Gator Hager, and Jason Yotter.
Honorary casket bearers were McKayla Oursler, Don Doty, Ron Madsen, Buster Watkins, Dave Bowlby, Tim Lawrence, Johnny Lang, Jim Unruh, and Louie Yotter.
A memorial fund has been established in her name with the Craig White Memorial.
