Card shower requested for Marge Watchcoske

Betty Ireland is requesting a card shower for Marge Watchcoske, who will be 94 years old Aug. 7. Cards may be sent to her at Legacy Park in Peabody.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Pankratz of Newton and Mrs. Ron Carpenter of Silverdale, Wash., were dinner guests Friday of Lenora Graham.
Wava Ireland of El Dorado was a supper guest Saturday of Betty Ireland at the Chuck Wagon. They visited John and Joyce Padget later in the evening.
Mary Jane Grimmett, Jean Everett, and Tyson and Melanie Grimmett, Bethany and Heidi helped Justin, Rachelle, and Ethan Grimmett move to Lindsborg Saturday.
Jim and Beluah Goering of Moundridge visited Tuesday evening with Don and Twylah Nightengale.
Mr. and Mrs. David Huntley and Davey of Newton were Saturday afternoon visitors of Betty Ireland.
Jean Everett and Ruby Everett of Cottonwood Falls ate dinner together Tuesday in Emporia.
Twylah Nightengale participated in Relay for Life Friday evening at Marion Stadium. Twylah reports her team, The Wheeler Memorial Walkers, collected the most money and won the first-place trophy.
Lucille Wyss and Bob and Elsie Phillips of Hillsboro took Anna Huebert out to eat this past Monday in Newton for her 100th birthday. Anna was Lucille and Bob's teacher at Sand Creek Grade School, District 19, in Sedgwick.
