Canine competition is 'ruff'

The July Fourth dog show, held at the city park Friday morning, was sponsored by the Peabody American Legion Auxiliary.

All entrants received ribbons and special pet treats. The Grand Champion was awarded a trophy, a $25 gift certificate (donated by Peabody Veterinary Clinic), pet picture frames, and special treats.

The Grand Champion award went to Winston, a St. Bernard, shown by Coyote Green of rural Burns.
