Buttons on sale for Labor Day
Buttons for contributors to purchase in support of the annual Florence Labor Day celebration are now on sale.
Janette Parmley, co-chairman of the event, said the buttons are being sold for $3 each.
They may be purchased at Sharon's Salon (21-99), Shear Success (100-199), Cottonwood Valley Bank (200-299), Florence Market (300-399), Town and Country Café (400-499), Williams Service (500-599), Chuckwagon Café (600-699), Florence City Hall (700-799), Johnson's General Store (800-899), and Peabody Hardware in Florence (900-1,000).
Those contributors who are searching for a particular number may do so by using the information above.
The number on the button is used for a drawing.
The buttons also gain entrance to several events, including the street dance. The DJ Doctors will provide the music.
A full weekend of fun is being planned. The final part of the program will be the community melodrama. Larry Timm is the writer and director.
