Burns seniors learn about legal issues
The importance of a Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney were discussed during the November potluck dinner at the Burns Senior Citizen center.
Robert Carlton, executive director of Central Homecare and Hospice in Newton, spoke about having a living will and durable power of attorney for health care decisions.

Leslie Allaby, bereavement coordinator from Central Homecare and Hospice, talked about grief, what to say to the grieving, and how to help.
Carlton and Allaby handed out brochures, and Carlton reminded everyone about the Hospice Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 in Marion.
