Burns seniors enjoy potluck
Burns Senior Citizens met Aug. 8 for a meeting and potluck dinner.
President Kathleen Brenzikofer opened the business meeting by reading, "Why, Why, Why?"
The minutes of the previous meeting were read. Treasurer Laverna Parrish gave a report. It was decided to donate $100 to the food pantry, $50 to the Burns Library reading program, and $50 to the Silver-Haired Legislature of Marion County.
Blood pressure checks will be offered from 9 to 10 a.m. Aug. 22 at Burns.
Joyce Kyle read "Senior Exercises." Several enjoyed playing card bingo.
