The monthly potluck luncheon for Burns seniors was enjoyed May 9 by 32 members and friends.

After dinner a program was given by "The Arobic Gals" from El Dorado. They presented a skit called "Crimes of Fashion" with the Sunflower, Cow Girl, Beachy Peach, Red Hat Lady, Madam Energizer Bunny, Spring Bride, and Winter Texan.

Billie Powers, Nancy Nelson, Pauline Hoffner, Alberta Doan, and Ann Wimberly were the cast members. It was hilarious and most entertaining. It is said, "You don't stop laughing when you get old, you get old when you stop laughing." Nobody felt old!

The business meeting was opened singing "Happy Birthday" to Pat Winsor. Kathleen Brenzikofer read "Happy Mother's Day" and "I Always Dreaded Old Age."

LaVonne Ammeter shared, "Just Checking In."

Burns senior citizens will host the June Marion County board meeting and there will be no regular meeting.
