Burns News: Potluck dinner enjoyed by area senior citizens

Enjoying the January potluck dinner of the Burns senior citizens were Lowell Larsen, Carl Riggs, Gene Obee, Norma Martin, James Olberding, LaVonne Ammeter, Maude Gaines, Beverly Morgan, Pat Winsor, Ann Wimberly, Sandi Cunningham, Evelyn Sidener, Donita Rogers, Don and Laverna Parrish, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Charlotte Brosius, Diane Nelson, Carol Callahan, Cindy Jackson, and Joyce Kyle.
Birthday honorees were Ann Wimberly and James Olberding. Kathleen Brenzikofer read "Flu-Do-Si-Do" and Joyce Kyle shared "10 New Year's Resolutions — Easy to Keep." Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Treasurer gave financial report.
Eight individuals from Burns attended Grandparents' Day dinner at Peabody. Sandi Cunningham commented on the spinning demonstration she gave at Prairie Arts.
Albert Gustainus provided two humorous videos for the program.
Donita Rogers will be the Feb. 14 hostess.
