Thirty-nine members of Burns High School classes 0f 1948, 1949, and 1950 gathered May 24 at Arletta's Catering in Burns for a group reunion. The class of 1948 was celebrating its 55th year anniversary.
After an invocation by Pat (Wyss) Phillips, a meal was served cafeteria style.
Each class member told where they live, what they are doing, and about children and grandchildren. Many humorous stories and remembrances also were shared.
Several guests attended. Ernest Edmonds, former superintendent, was there with his daughter and her husband, Margaret and Raymond Brown. Kenneth Kaufman, a former BHS coach also attended.
The presence of Mr. Edmonds and Coach Kaufman made our evening very special!
Officers for the year were Harold Brenzikofer and Pat Phillips. Those in charge of the next group reunion in 2005 are LaVonne Ammeter, Kenneth Phillips, and Leland Stucky.
