Broncos no match for Warrior squad

Peabody-Burns Warriors hosted the Remington Broncos Feb. 18 and tamed the Broncos, 70-47, in a good offensive contest.

The game started with a pre-game technical foul shot, with Caleb Good scoring one of two from the line. The Warriors went back and fourth with the scoring, and were down three at the end of the period, 20-17. All of the starters chipped in points for the team.

Defensively, the Warriors put on good pressure and were able to take the lead, 31-24, late in the half. Philip Unruh and Caleb Good each had five in the quarter with Brennan Commerford and Brandon Crabtree adding a basket a piece.

The Warriors held the Broncos to seven points in the third. The PBHS squad scored 17, making the score 48-31 at the end of the third period.

The P-B poured it on in the fourth with good defense and good scoring and the Warriors took the Broncos, 70-47.
