Body shop opens in rural Peabody
Halstead Body Shop recently opened for business in rural Peabody.
Owned and operated by Tim Ross, the shop is located at 1827 50th Street. It will offer insurance body work and vintage restoration. Auto glass repair also is available.
Ross grew up in Halstead and lived there until moving to rural Peabody two years ago. He has 29 years experience in the body work field.
His list of restored automobiles includes several old International trucks, a 1958 Corvette, and a 1956 Oldsmobile. Ross recently left his full-time position at Moundridge to devote all of his time to the new business.
The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday. House calls also can be arranged. Ross can be reached at 620-983-9202.
