Boat stolen from reservoir

Between 6 p.m. Aug. 3 and 1 a.m. Aug 4, unknown persons used bolt cutters to cut a link in a chain and removed a 10' flat bottom aluminum boat that was attached to a pipe handrail at Marion Reservoir Dam. The boat is property of Coatings Unlimited, St. Louis, Mo., and is valued at $200, reports Deputy Rollin Schmidt.

Between 8:40 p.m. June 21 and 8 a.m. Aug. 8, a registered sex offender moved and has not reported a new address which is required within 10 days, states Deputy Mike Vineski.

Sometime between 8:30 p.m. July 29 and 10:15 a.m. July 30 an unknown person attempted to break into a locked shed at 1610 Old Mill Road, Marion. The damaged metal door of the shed is property of Wilfred W. Nice, 705 South Roosevelt, Marion, reports Deputy Schmidt.

At 9:25 a.m. July 29 a pack of cigarettes was found by Deputy Schmidt on an individual in Marion County Jail.
