Birthday open house honors Margaret Jewell

LaVonne and Maude were in Marion Thursday for business and shopping. In the afternoon they attended Margaret Jewell's 93rd birthday open house. It was well attended.

Maude Gaines visited LaVonne Tuesday afternoon.

Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's home Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Leona Widler, Maude Gaines, Sherry Nightengale, and Dorene Kirkpatrick.

Maude Gaines visited Ike and Marie Clark Wednesday morning.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne Wednesday and Thursday.

Joannie Clark, Bonnie Richard, and Betty Wagoner of El Dorado visited Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter Thursday afternoon.

Tom and Lisa Clark visited LaVonne Friday evening and put out bales for the cows.

LaVonne visited Ernie and Maxine Seibel Saturday morning and delivered a cake.

Saturday evening LaVonne and Maude attended the Burns Methodist Church annual soup supper, bazaar, and benefit auction. It was a wonderful supper and lots of people were in attendance.

We had church at Summit Sunday. Pastor Linda gave a wonderful sermon. Sunday evening Marvin and Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, LaVonne Ammeter, and Patti Gaines attended the annual church conference at the United Methodist Church in Peabody.
