Bill Roth

Bill Roth, 82, of Newton, died at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Born Oct. 4, 1922, at Newton, he was the son of Theodore and Hazel (Mellor) Roth.

He graduated from Whitewater High School in 1940. He was a retired electrician and air conditioning and heating technician.

On Jan. 24, 1951, he married Betty Lou Pulaski at Abilene. He attended Meridian Baptist Church, Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Bob, Buddy, and Fritz.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou of Newton; a son, Marc Roth of Kirksey, Ky.; a daughter, Cheryl Bosch of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Ted Roth of Elbing; a sister, Betty Janzen of Wichita; a grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Federated Church, Whitewater, with Pastors Jerrol Martens and Arnold Ensz officiating. Burial was in Whitewater Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with Gideons International.
