Betty Jane McKay
Betty Jane McKay, 66, died at her home in Potwin June 14, 2002.
Born March 30, 1936, at Wichita, she was the daughter of Paul and Gladys (Johnson) Jackson.
She married Delano McKay July 24, 1954, at Wichita.
Retired, she had been a CNA and CMA at Wheat State Manor, Whitewater, and Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital and Knutson Manor, both of El Dorado.
She lived in Potwin for 26 years, coming from Wichita.
She attended school at Andover, graduating from Andover High School.
Survivors include her husband, Delano, of Potwin; sons, Roger and Clifford of Potwin, Dan and Paul of Wichita, and Luke of College Station, Texas; daughters, Shirley Deines of Pineville, Mo., and Cynthia Wilson El Dorado; brothers, John Jackson of Wolf Point, Mont., and Wilfred Jackson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one sister, Mildred Busenitz of Newton; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at Union Cemetery, Benton, with Pastor Norman Busenitz officiating.
A memorial fund was established with Wheat State Manor.
